Spa and Wellness
The spa sits in the forest at 1,230 metres above Merano. The hotel has two heated outdoor pools, open year-round: an Infinity pool and an Onsen pool, both with views.
The pools are saltwater. Saunas, natural stone steam baths and a fitness centre complete the wellness area. Massages and treatments can be booked.
The hotel's own site describes the spa as intimate and open to the landscape. It is compact compared with a large destination spa: the point is the setting and the view, not a resort-scale circuit.

A short walk from the main hotel, the MONTI houses (about 300 metres) offer three separate units at the edge of the forest, suitable for couples, families and friends.

Location and Getting There
Miramonti sits at 1,230 metres in Avelengo / Hafling, 10 km above the spa town of Merano. Address: Via S. Caterina 14, 39010 Avelengo, South Tyrol, Italy.
The Merano 2000 ski area is about 4 km away. The hotel offers free ski storage with boot warmers and a free shuttle to the Merano 2000 slopes on request. This is not ski-in/ski-out.
Nearest airport on Booking.com: Bolzano, 37 km. Official hotel site also lists Innsbruck and Verona at about 2 hours, Munich at about 3.5 hours. By train: Bolzano to Merano, then bus to Avelengo / Hafling, stop St. Kathrein.
On arrival, each guest receives a Mobilcard for public transport in South Tyrol, valid for 7 days from first use. Private transfers from Bolzano, Merano or another agreed location can be arranged on request for an additional charge. Free covered outdoor parking is available on site; the garage is extra charge.
Best time to visit: Spring and autumn are quieter; summer is for hiking and valley views; winter gives access to Merano 2000 by shuttle, but this is not a ski-in/ski-out hotel.
